Nmixx lit up The Star Theatre in Singapore on June 20 for the Singapore leg of their first world tour, Episode 1: Zero Frontier. Returning after a three-year absence, the six members — Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin — gave Nswers a two-and-a-half-hour show that leaned hard into their biggest strength: vocals.

Instead of relying on massive set pieces, the group put musicality front and center with live singing backed by a live band (yes, there was a saxophonist). Highlights included a powerful Run For Roses and the stand-out sequence from Dice into Heavy Serenade. Lily absolutely owned the night with jaw-dropping belts and effortless highs, plus a cute moment when she paused because a fan got distracted by confetti — it had everyone laughing.

Sullyoon’s performance was one of the most memorable moments for the right reasons and the heart-tugging ones. JYP had advised she avoid intense choreography because of back pain, so she spent much of the show seated but never let her bright vocals slip. She even joined formations for less strenuous songs like Young, Dumb, Stupid and Break The Wall. At the end she broke down and apologised to fans for not being able to move as much; the crowd’s encouragement and her members’ immediate comfort made for a truly emotional close. Bae made a point to reassure Sullyoon that she did a great job.

All told, the Singapore show felt like proof that Nmixx are carving their own lane: musically adventurous, vocally formidable, and tightly bonded as a unit. Fans got both the technical fireworks and genuine, heartfelt moments — a combo that makes their live shows special.
