Rose’s solo album ‘R’ has received over 500 thousand pre-orders!
On March 15th, YG Entertainment announced Rose’s solo album ‘R’ to be officially released on the 16th has received 404,318 CD pre-orders, 49,058 KIT pre-orders, and 52,129 LP pre-orders. Rose breaks the record for the K-Pop female soloist with the most presold albums. The pre-orders were made not only in Korea but also from countries including the US, China, and Japan, showing BLACKPINK and ROSÉ’s global presence.
Meanwhile, Rose’s title track “On The Ground” became the ‘Most Watched Video in the First 24 Hours’ on YouTube after its release and has currently surpassed 70M views. The video is expected to set another K-Pop female solo artist record when it surpasses 100M views.
