Papaya Treatment

Wash your face and body with a hypo-allergenic cleanser and pat dry. Use a warm wash cloth and press it  over the face and body to open pores. Get a ripe papaya preferably blended already. Apply a generous amount on your face and body then leave it for a couple of minutes before washing it off with water. To close pores, it is okay to use cold water this time.

Cleopatra was queen of ancient Egypt and one of the most famous female rulers in history. She’s also well-known for relaxing in her milk baths. The Cleopatra Milk Cleanser is an excellent remedy to have a flawless skin. Cleanse the face and body with a mixture of milk and water. Gently rinse off afterwards. In days you will see that the lactic acid in milk will brighten the skin.

Honey and Olive Oil Magic

Honey has been used by humans through the centuries to aid maintain healthy skin. In fact, aside from milk baths, Cleopatra was also known to apply honey mask to her face every morning to keep her face smooth, healthy and youthful. Scientists later on discovered that honey has potent antioxidant properties and is a great source of vitamins and minerals, enzymes and amino acids that reduce inflammation and promote cellular regeneration.

Olive oil on the other hand is also packed with anti-aging antioxidant and hydrating squalene, making it superb for skin.

How to make Honey and Olive Oil Face Mask and Hand Moisturizer

Prepare 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon salt and few drops of olive oil. Mix everything together until it resembles caramel. Apply gently over clean, wet skin in circular motion. Just avoid the eye area. Because you’re using hands in applying this to face, hands get moisturized as well. Leave the mask for 10-15 minutes and then rinse.

Lemon Toner

Lemon is known as antibacterial. It is common folk remedy for lightening skin quickly and is very much affordable. To prepare, cut open half a lemon and sprinkle a small amount of brown sugar on top. On clean skin, rub the lemon straight unto the skin. This will act as a toner and tighten pores. Leave for minutes and rinse. Do this in the evening before going to bed. In the morning after, while taking a shower, use a loofah to brush away dead skin cells from the body.
