Big news and fast controversy: Na Entertainment launched official social channels for their multinational pre-debut girl group N.angels in January 2026 and have been introducing trainees one by one. The agency says trainees (who passed online tests) will receive formal training in Korea before a debut lineup is finalized.
So far the rollout has included over 10 trainees from across the globe (Americas, Europe, Africa, South and Southeast Asia). Indonesian trainee Vinka was the first revealed on Jan 10, and Brazilian 21-year-old Yoon was introduced on Jan 17.
Reaction online quickly turned critical. Many fans took issue with Yoon’s Korean stage name, saying it feels at odds with her ethnicity and public image — tweets called the choice “jarring” and mocked the mismatch. Others used the announcements to flag long-standing concerns about Na Entertainment’s management.

- Na Entertainment started as LPA Entertainment in 1982, renamed Namoo Entertainment in 2022, and then Na Entertainment in 2023.
- In 2022 Na’s multinational group Angel Rus had their debut cancelled after investigations: police reportedly raided the CEO’s devices amid allegations trainees were asked to submit sexually revealing photos.
- In 2024 Na opened accounts for another multinational act, DE:VA, which later announced they left the agency and have not debuted.
- Na did debut a seven-member global group, NWH:I, on October 24, 2025 — making N.angels at least the company’s fourth multinational girl-group attempt.
All of this explains why many in the K-pop community are skeptical and protective — fans are asking whether these trainees will get the support and safe management they deserve. I’m excited to see fresh global talent, but I want reassurance, transparency, and better behavior from the company before I fully stan.
