YG’s Treasure is slated to officially debut in Japan on March 31, but the group is already proving to be popular!
On March 16th, YG Entertainment announced their pre-release song ‘BOY’ from TREASURE’s upcoming official Japanese debut album is maintaining its no. 1 spot on the Daily Chart of Line Music, which is the biggest music platform in Japan, for 6 consecutive days. Also, “My Treasure,” “I Love You” and “Mmm” made the list as well, ranking fourth, fifth, and sixth.
In addition, TREASURE revealed their aspirations during their interview on Nippon TV’s ‘Sukkiri by stating, “We look forward to our Japanese debut, thanks to the Japanese fans’ support” and added, “Our goal is for all of us 12 members to go on a world tour”.
Meanwhile, TREASURE is currently holding various local promotional activities such as opening a pop-up store in Shibuya 109 on March 12 and pre-releasing songs from their upcoming official Japanese debut album on March 31st.
