Controversy after controversy
If you are interested in Korean beauty and Youtubers, then there’s a good chance you have heard of Lena from Lena’s Pocket Beauty. The Youtuber started her channel back in 2015 and has garnered quite an impressive amount of subscribers. That is, of course, before she was embroiled in a controversy surrounding her involvement with a right-wing website, Ilbe. Previously, she was criticized for her Gucci haul video, as viewers find the show-off unnecessary.
Aftermath
Ever since the scandal broke out, Lena has deleted all posts on her Instagram and turned off the comment section for her YouTube videos. She has been bombarded with hate comments and over 200,000 subscribers have unsubscribed from her channel.
