Lee Seung Gi appointed as Produce 48’s MC!

The long wait is finally over!

For the upcoming “Produce 48” program, Lee Seung Gi was appointed as the national producer representative and the main MC of the show.

It was confirmed by Mnet on April 18. They shared that Lee Seung Gi perfectly fits the role as he is not only a singer but also an actor that is loved by the nation for his skills and humor.

He will be following the footsteps of representatives BoA and Jang Geun Suk from previous seasons.

The first recording for the program “Produce 48” was finished without the MC but for the next recording on April 23, Lee Seung Gi will finally join.

Other celebrities joining as mentors for the program are FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki, SISTAR Soyou, Cheetah, Bae Yoon Jeong, May J Lee, and Choi Young Joon.
