Reports about Wanna One’s contract circulated once again on July 26, 2018.
It was stated that there might be a contract extension for the 11 boys. They might still be together until the end of January 2019 for the award shows and their very last concert.
Swing Entertainment then released their official statement and shared that last July 23, Swing Entertainment, CJ ENM, and all the respective agency representatives had a meeting regarding contract renewal. But because some agencies does not favor on the renewal, there’s no official decision yet.
Swing Entertainment and CJ ENM wanted to extend the contract from December 31 to last day of January so that the boys can attend the award shows and also have their last concert on January.
