XG Release Long-Awaited Dance Practice Video for Latest Single "GALA"
Hiphop / R&B-inspired girl group XG have released a Dance Practice Video for "GALA," the lead single from their upcoming 1st full album. The video is available now on YouTube.

"GALA" was released on September 19 as the upcoming single from the group’s 1st full album. On release day, XG performed the track on Japan’s TV Asahi show, Music Station, followed by a performance on CDTV LIVE! LIVE! on the 29th. Their high-level dance performances across a wide range of styles quickly became a hot topic of conversation amongst fans, who immediately requested the release of a dance practice video.
This newly released video showcases choreography that blends fashion-inspired elements such as mannequin-like movements and voguing, as well as individual highlights such as COCONA’s breakdancing and HARVEY’s acrobatic elegance. Together, the performance highlights each member’s unique skills, powerful expressions, and commanding stage presence.
The track itself is performing strongly across global charts. On the Billboard Japan Hot 100 (announced October 1), "GALA" ranked at #11. On the Global Japan Songs excl. Japan chart, it reached #3, with #1 placements in Brazil and the U.S., #2 in Singapore, the U.K., South Africa, and Malaysia, #4 in France, Taiwan, and Germany, and #5 in Thailand and Indonesia. In the U.S., "GALA" entered the Billboard Dance Digital Song Sales chart at #10—XG’s first-ever entry on this chart. The music video ranked on YouTube’s trending charts in 21 countries and regions worldwide, including the U.S., U.K., and Japan.
