Blackpink’s surprise cover performance of Wonder Girls’ So Hot gathered a lot of attention in South Korea and internationally.
Blackpink already revealed that they will be performing a remix of So Hot before the SBS Gayo Daejun 2017, but K-pop fans didn’t expect the performance to be that hot and sexy.
Wonder Girls is a group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2006 and disbanded in 2017. Their song So Hot was released in 2008 and became an instant hit in South Korea.
To show appreciation of this legendary song, Blackpink performed So Hot with charisma and perfection in SBS Gayo Daejun 2017.
The So Hot version that Blackpink performed is a remix done by The Blacklabel— a recording agency affiliated with YG Entertainment.
