Blackpink members chose to stay under YG Entertainment for group activities.
After more than a year of hot discussion online, Blackpink members have finally decided to continue promoting as Blackpink under YG Entertainment.
Blackpink’s journey in K-pop started in August 2019, from idols who were once shy performing live in local award shows, Blackpink has truly turned into worldwide superstars now, performing at their record breaking worldwide tours reaching the global success of Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child.
Though it took more than a year for Blackpink’s renewal to be finalized, it’s indeed a sweet news for fans to know that Blackpink decided to stay under YG Entertainment to which the label eventually announced that Blackpink will release a new album in 2024 which will be followed by a Mega World Tour.
