Actress and idol Kim Sejeong recently shared pictures of her trip on Instagram which created a dating rumor with his former Business Proposal co-lead star, Ahn Hyo Seop.
Following this, actor Ahn Hyo Seop also posted a series of images, prompting fans to speculate the two had gone to Japan together.
Hyo Seop eventually deleted some of his uploaded photos and reuploaded it omitting some of the pictures.
This bolstered the idea that the two had embarked on the journey together, especially after they had appeared in the hit K-Drama ‘Business Proposal’ where their chemistry was undeniable.
Fans began to suspect there was something more between them due to the support they have shown each other off-screen.
Nevertheless, Sejeong held a Weverse Live broadcast and denied the rumors, clarifying that she had gone on the trip with her best friend and older brother.
Fans were quick to express their appreciation of how she addressed the issue, while others highlighted that it shouldn’t have been necessary for her to comment on her private life in the first place.
This was taken as a reminder that shippers should respect boundaries, as Sejeong had to address the rumors during a live broadcast. Instead, she should be able to talk about the upcoming second season of ‘Uncanny Counter’ with her fans.
