BABYMONSTER

Episode five of BABYMONSTER‘s Last Evaluation is out with the promise that the group will debut with less than seven members.

Fans have already become familiar with the seven talented pre-debut line-up, which consists of YG Entertainment trainees: Pharita, Ahyeon, Rora, Chiquita, Ruka, Haram, and Asa.

The two teams completed their team challenges and then moved on to individual stages, with Pharita coming out as the first to perform her solo stage. Rora and Asa also showcased their talents, with Asa determined to stand out by singing “Me, Myself, & I” by Bebe Rexha and G-Eazy instead of her usual rapping.

In preparation for her final evaluation performance, Asa used her phone calculator to add a number each time she practiced until she reached 100. She also used a method to recreate the atmosphere of the evaluation by performing in the practice room and pretending she was in front of the judges, with her fellow BABYMONSTER members helping her to practice singing in front of an audience.

Asa was praised by the judges for her singing and impressive Korean language skills, considering she had only studied the language for four and a half years after moving from Japan to become a trainee. The battle to debut continues next Friday as YG Entertainment will use each performance to determine who will join the group.
