On the latest episode of M!Countdown that aired on October 5, BTS was announced as the winner!
For this week’s music program, they aired the performances from KCON Australia.
BTS’ “DNA” battled up against K.Will’s chart topping track “Nonfiction”. In the end, it was revealed that BTS snagged another win making their 6th trophy for their latest release.
BTS is currently holding the trophy for two weeks in a row with “DNA”. In a video, the members relayed their gratefulness and also leader Rap Monster asked fans to also watch out for “BTS Countdown” special next week.
Other artists that performed on the said episode were Cosmic Girls, EXO, Girl’s Day, MONSTA X, PENTAGON, SF9, UP10TION, VICTON, and Wanna One. They also showed some of the covers did by other groups such as PENTAGON with GOT7’s “Hard Carry,” VICTON with BTS’s “Fire,” and SF9 performing EXO’s “Monster.”
The performances were from KCON Australia that was held last September 22 and 23 in Sydney.
