The Japanese adaptation “Roppongi Class,” which will run as a 13-part series this summer, has confirmed its selection of top Japanese actors.

“Itaewon Class,” based on a popular webtoon of the same name, depicts the story of a group of young people who band together to fight an unjust world. The drama had a personal best viewership rating of 18.3 percent for the finale during its broadcast on JTBC in 2020, making it the then second highest-rated drama in JTBC history.

The Korean drama starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi, garnered a lot of praise for its outstanding acting and relatable tale, as well as the show’s lines, hairstyles, and soundtrack. “Itaewon Class” also took home the Best Drama Series award at the 25th Asian Television Awards in 2021.
