Lady Gaga talks BLackpink reveals thoughts about collaborating with BLACKPINK in the latest episode of GAGA radio on Apple Music.
The pop singer shared a voice note from all the members of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, who collaborated with Gaga on the Chromatica single “Sour Candy”.
“It was so fun getting to know this girls. I got to know them over the phone (which I know is not the same as meeting in person) but I remember what it was like being a young person in the music industry.
Just being able to connect with them and speak with them one on one, as opposed to going through managers, it’s what made this record happen”.
The actress was super grateful with the Blackpink’s talent and sweetness. She really empowered the girls to bring their own creativity to the record.
“Shoutout to all of BLACKPINK’s fans. I love you guys, I can’t wait to hug you in person,” Gaga said.
