This will be another proud moment for the entire K-Pop world!

Several artists are performing in North Korea and idols such as Red Velvet and Girls Generation Seohyun were picked.

On March 20, final line up and date were announced for the concert in Pyongyang, North Korea.

160 artists from South Korea will travel to North to perform. The lineup consists of Cho Yong Pil, Lee Sun Hee, Yoon Do Hyun, Baek Ji Young, Jung In, Ali, Red Velvet, and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun. The director of the performances will be done by singer Yoon Sang.

Red Velvet will be the first girl group to perform after Baby VOX in North Korea. They performed back in 2003.

Red Velvet shared their insight about their participation and stated how they are very honored and glad to be part of the event. They also stated that it will be their very first time to perform at Pyongyang and they are already anticipating it. They also promised to prepare well for their performance.

The legendary concert will happen from March 31 through April 3 at East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and Pyongyang Arena.
