Small-label rookie girl group FIFTY FIFTY has been stealing the show in the K-Pop industry lately, with their accomplishments despite coming from a small company.
Their single “Cupid” soared up the Billboard Top 100 chart in the U.S. and the U.K. official charts within 4 months of their debut, surpassing the most popular 4th generation girl groups today!
Furthermore, the group has been given a huge boost through the support of YouTube headquarters, with their videos playing on billboards in Times Square and Los Angeles. This is an incredible feat for a group of their size and rookie status! According to the plan, the videos will be displayed every 12 minutes in Times Square and two other New York locations from April 7 to April 13.
FIFTY FIFTY is also becoming increasingly successful in South Korea, as their songs have become popular hits. On the forums, fans have expressed their joy for the group’s billboard appearance in the U.S.
In addition, FIFTY FIFTY recently made a new record for fourth generation K-Pop groups on Spotify. Their track “Cupid (Twin Version)” achieved the highest daily streaming numbers on the Spotify Top Songs Global chart, beating out NewJeans’s songs “Ditto” and “Cupid”. Additionally, they peaked at #23 on the U.S. Spotify chart, another record for fourth generation K-Pop artists.
We would like to congratulate FIFTY FIFTY on their tremendous successes and wish them continued success in the future!
