TWICE got the highest award given on 2017 MAMA in Japan!
On November 29, 2017 MAMA was held at Yokohama Arena in Japan for their second leg. Minor and major awards were given and TWICE got the first major award for the evening.
TWICE’s Signal was awarded with “Song of The Year” for 2017. They were also awarded last year with the same trophy with their track “Cheer Up”.
Members were shocked with the announcement and they also got emotional as their leader Jihyo gave their winning speech.
Leader Jihyo stated “We know that there’s really a long way to go and lots of things to do but we are so thankful to receive a lot of awards. This amazing award”. She also didn’t forget to say her gratitude towards their agency, staff, TWICE members, all of their parents and ofcourse their fans ONCEs, who were all cheering for them.
