BLACKPINK marked a remarkable debut in America as they performed in front of Hollywood performers/artists, producers, and businessmen at UMG’s pre-Grammy private event.
Blackpink received massive recognition from Hollywood artists, producers, and even CEOs when YG Entertainment’s global girl group performed their hit songs Ddu-Du Ddu-Du and Forever Young for the first time in America.
Making their debut at a grand event where only selected people from Hollywood were invited made Blackpink’s debut even more spectacular.
At the start of their performance, some people were busy doing their personal businesses but it didn’t take long for Blackpink to get everyone’s attention and made everyone focus on their performance.
Despite singing their songs in Korean, businessmen and everyone in the venue were seen standing just to clearly witness Blackpink’s live performance. Indeed, Blackpink proved to everyone that “Music is Universal.”
Businessmen kept on taking videos and photos of Blackpink during their performance.
After every performance, Blackpink also received loud cheers from everyone in the venue.
Despite some malfunctions, Jisoo didn’t use her in-ear-peace during Forever Young and Lisa’s wardrobe malfunction, Blackpink smoothly handled these problems like professionals. They continued giving high-quality performance.
Other artists who attended the event are Nick Jonas with his wife Priyanka Chopra, Shawn Mendes, Post Malone, and more.
The hashtag #HereComesBlackpink also trended #1 worldwide on Twitter.
