Melting makeup?!
The peak of this year’s summer is just around the corner. While we do love summer, putting makeup on humid, hot weather can be less than fun. And it’s definitely a pain to make your makeup stay longer. The weather can be so hot you can literally feel your face melt! To keep you (and your makeup) safe this summer, we’re ‘stealing’ some Korean beauty tips. Check them out below!
- No sebum
No sebum is a versatile beauty product you can find in Korea. The powder removes grease from your facial skin and can also act as an alternative to dry shampoo. - Mist spray
While mist spray doesn’t directly remove oil from your face, the spray allows your skin to maintain moisture. When your skin is moisturized, it’ll stop producing excess oil. Just remember to spray it moderately. - Jamsu
The last trick might not be for everyone. The ‘jamsu’ trend (‘jamsu literally means dive) makes women dip their faces on a bowl of cold water for 30 seconds. The trick, supposedly, is the key to perfectly matte skin
